Horsepower and torque gains will vary dependent on vehicle condition, mileage, and modifications installed.
Our experience has shown typical, repeatable gains as follows comparing Stage 1 bhp/tq to stock bhp/tq on T5 models:
15G 35 bhp, 45 ft/lbs
16T 45 bhp, 55 ft/lbs
18T 95 bhp, 105 ft/lbs
19T 105 bhp, 118 ft/lbs
20T 120 bhp, 130 ft/lbs
22T 170 bhp, 184 ft/lbs
20G 220 bhp, 214 ft/lbs
Cam timing and wastegate setting recommendations:
15G -1 intake, -1 exhaust, 3.3 psi
16T -2 intake, -2 exhaust, 3.5 psi
18T -2 intake, -3 exhaust, 3.7 psi
19T -3 intake, -3 exhaust, 3.7 psi
20T -4 intake, -4 exhaust, 4.0 psi
22T -5 intake, -4 exhaust, 4.4 psi
20G -4 intake, -5 exhaust, 4.4 psi
*NOTE: For vehicle with non turbo intake camshaft installed, set the intake camshaft at an additional -4 degrees.
The adjustments above assume the factory cam timing has been maintained throughout the service life of the vehicle.
If you are uncertain of your vehicles cam timing profile, use an approved cam timing tool to confirm the proper base setting before making any adjustments
Modifying your vehicle means you are taking it outside the normal operating parameters it was designed to withstand.
This results in vehicle components that begin to wear and break sooner and easier as the vehicle power increases.
